Derek Granat created the Green Energy Team after having an epiphany.

"Oh, my God. We're on a college campus," he said to himself.

After realizing how many aluminum cans college students go through, Granat put his ideas into motion. He had been researching different solar panels and the cheaper ways of not only saving money but helping the environment too.

Another Halloween has come and gone, but naturally the unfounded prejudices against it live on. According to www.telegraph.co.uk, Tom Wilson, the mayor of the small English town of Nuneaton, refused to judge a pumpkin-carving contest on Saturday on the grounds that the holiday "glorifies Satan's angels and celebrates the dark side.

Many individuals have adopted the notion that life is short. That couldn't be further from the truth. In reality, life is long and hard and you must be aware of the choices you make today because they will affect you tomorrow.

Those who live in the moment are blind to consequences and often regret decisions they have made in the past.

As I near the end of my studies in graduate music, I find myself jaded from my initial intentions. Despite my best efforts I somehow ended up on autopilot.

I tried for years to place this gradual numbness that invaded my thoughts, and I almost lost my marbles completely until I found out I was not alone.

Imagine if you will a typical scene: boy meets girl (or boy meets boy or girl meets girl), they hit it off and over time decide to become an item. Through the course of discovering the history of one another, aside from favorite colors, weird birthmarks and crazy relatives, they find there is a significant age gap between them.
