•Aug. 3, at 2:55 a.m., Mario Monarrez, 20, of Woodridge (nonstudent), was arrested near L-Lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned a Sept. 16 court date.

•Aug. 12, at 2:19 a.m., an individual at Lamoine Village reported being harassed by telephone calls. The incidents are under investigation.

•Aug. 14, at 12:51 p.m., an individual reported that his STARS (Student/Alumni Records System) computer account had been accessed by an unauthorized person and his password had been changed. The incident is under investigation.

•Aug. 15, at 1:23 p.m., a university employee reported that two lamps had been taken from a Brophy Hall office. The theft is under investigation.

•Aug. 18, at 1:23 p.m., a sewing machine, valued at $234, was reported missing from a trailer parked at the loading dock behind the DPS building.

•Aug. 18, at 10:08 p.m., a student at the intersection of N. Charles and W. Murray streets was issued a judicial referral for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

•Aug. 19, at 9:23 a.m., a switcher and touch pad, valued at $1,948, were reported stolen from a Stipes Hall electronic classroom.

•Aug. 20, at 11:27 a.m., officers met with security and administration at the WIU-QC campus concerning the theft of approximately 120 AA batteries from mid-July to Aug. 18. The batteries had been stolen from remote control units throughout various classrooms on campus. The theft is under investigation.

•Aug. 23, at midnight, five students in Thompson Hall were judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. ??

•Aug. 23, at 3:03 am. Adam Kamykowski, 19, of Naperville (nonstudent) was arrested in the University Union guest parking lot for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned a Sept. 23 court date.?

•Aug. 23, at 4:39 a.m., a McDonough District Hospital Emergency Room attendant reported to OPS that a student had arrived at the ER after being assaulted. The student told OPS officers that he had been battered near Horrabin Hall by a person unknown to him, and had been in an altercation with the individual earlier in the evening at an off-campus location. The incidents are under investigation.

•Aug. 23, at 8:01 p.m., Sean Langford, 19, of 1306 Higgins Hall, was arrested in Higgins for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was assigned a Sept. 23 court date.

•Aug. 23, at 10:56 p.m., Samuel Soto, 19, and Chase Donovan, 19, of 217 Henninger Hall, were arrested in Henninger for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams). They were each assigned a Sept. 16 court date.

•Aug. 23, at 11:58 p.m., one student near Sherman Hall Drive was judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

•Aug. 24, at 1:04 a.m., Nicholas Cooper, 18, of 812 Thompson Hall, was arrested near Sallee Hall for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned a Sept. 30 court date.

•Aug. 24, at 1:16 a.m., one student near Hanson Field was judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. ??

•Aug. 24, at 1:29 a.m., Joseph Capritta, 21, of Lincoln (nonstudent), was arrested near Stipes Hall on a Mason County warrant for failure to appear. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

•Aug. 24, at 1:35 a.m., one student near the Art Gallery parking lot was judicially referred for attempted criminal damage after an OPS officer observed him kicking a university vehicle.??

•Aug. 24, at 2:17 a.m., Jason Pitstick, 18, of 704 Henninger Hall, was arrested in Henninger for possession of cannabis (less than 10 grams). He was assigned a Sept. 16 court date. Another student was judicially referred for possession of cannabis.

•Aug. 24, at 2:28 a.m., Michael Pizzo, 19, of 1017 Lincoln Hall, was arrested in the 600 block of West Adams Street for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting arrest. An OPS officer observed Pizzo walking along Adams Street with an open container of alcohol and when the officer attempted to make contact, Pizzo allegedly ran from the officer. He was assigned a Sept. 28 court date.

•Aug. 24, at 10:47 a.m., a university housing employee reported that someone had written on several walls with black marker on the 18th floor of Higgins Hall.??
