The division of party lines was a heated topic in last year's presidential election. Even further back it was a topic in the 2000 election, but is it George Bush dividing America or America dividing itself? Right to bear arms
In the wake of the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina, the law-abiding citizens of New Orleans were told they couldn't protect themselves from the criminals who wanted to exploit the situation. The deputy police chief of New Orleans made this comment on ABC News: "Only law enforcement are allowed to have weapons." He went on to say, "No one will be able to be armed.
