Christianity is the world's largest religion. The basic tenets of the faith are that God gave his only son, Jesus, to the world. Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary, spent his life regarded as a prophet and spread the word of the Lord all around the Mediterranean. However, his good intentions only got him so far.
