The other day I did an experiment - I separated the shirts in my closet by color. That may sound a little obsessive-compulsive, but it made me realize something about myself and everyone else. I discovered most of my shirts are one or two colors and only a very miniscule portion is dedicated to other pigments. That wasn't the only peculiarity I noticed. Upon broader investigation, I realized I usually wear my hair the same way, keep the same rigid schedule from week to week and in general don't stray from the norm of my life.… 1 Comment

I was appalled and disappointed by the behavior of my fellow Western Illinois University students on Saturday, February 24th. I was at the Ritz around seven or so having a couple drinks with friends when about one hundred kids in green shirts on a bar crawl trampled through the door. They immediately demanded drinks from the lone bartender and when she could not serve them as quickly as they would have liked; they began to call her offensive names and throw beer bottles across the bar. They ruined both pool tables by pouring alcohol all over them. A fight broke out between two young men in green and the bouncer ended up getting punched in the face. … 35 Comments
