For the second time in our tenure as student journalists, we have the unfortunate duty of reporting a campus shooting. Sadly, this incident is closer to home. (0) comments

In college, many students are pressured into certain majors by parents or other influences. Psychology, philosophy, business, accounting - the list of majors first-time bachelor's degree seekers are forced into goes on even from there. (0) comments

Recently, an alarming e-mail was sent to the Western Illinois University population in regard to turbidity concerns about Macomb's water system. Last December, levels of turbidity exceeded the set standard, which caused concern. (5) comments

For those who have not been watching the news lately, the Writers Guild of America has finally ended its strike. This should be happy news to the many fans of "Grey's Anatomy" or "Heroes," just two of the many television shows that have been forced to either end the season early or be put on hiatus.
