• Feb. 22, at 8:41 a.m., a Western Illinois University employee reported that a projector, valued at $2,421.36, was stolen from a faculty member's mailbox in Horrabin Hall. The theft is under investigation.

• Feb. 22, at 10:07 a.m., a university employee reported that two laptop computers, valued at $1,300, were stolen from a Morgan Hall office. The theft is under investigation.

• Feb. 22, at 10:52 a.m., a Physical Plant employee reported that $105 in damages was done to the sod area behind Wetzel Hall.

• Feb. 22, at 10:55 a.m., a student reported that the antenna on his vehicle was broken while parked in Q-lot. Damage was estimated at $50.

• Feb. 22, at 3:17 p.m., a student reported that her iPod, valued at $300, was stolen from her coat in the University Union Sandburg Theatre. The theft is under investigation.

• Feb. 22, at 9:56 p.m., a university employee reported that two digital cameras, valued at $250, were stolen from an unlocked file cabinet in a Stipes Hall office. The theft is under investigation.

• Feb. 23, at 1:19 a.m., Richard J. Beck, 22, of 904 Henninger Hall, was arrested on Riverview Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol after he crashed into a retaining wall on the north side of the road in the 1400 block of Riverview Drive. A passenger in Beck's vehicle received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Western's Emergency Medical Services. Beck posted his driver's license and $100 cash bond for a March 19 court date.

• Feb. 23, at 2:21 a.m., Sean Bailey, 20, of Oak Lawn (non-student), was arrested near Sherman Hall for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned a March 25 court date.

• Feb. 23, at 2:48 p.m., a university housing staff member reported that racial slurs had been written in the stairwells of floors 2, 9, 12 and 13 in Higgins Hall. The incident is under investigation.

• Feb. 23, at 2:56 p.m., a student reported she is being harassed and threatened via Facebook by a person known to her. The incident is under investigation.
