Summit League Diver of the Year Eric Campbell and teammate Anthony Holzhauer completed a third straight season of competition at the NCAA Diving Zone C held at Ohio State University Saturday.

"I am so proud of the efforts that Anthony and Eric have made at such an intense meet," said diving coach Kaitlin Schneider. "They have worked really hard all season for this meet and it really showed as they moved into the middle of the mix of big-league divers."

Day 1 of the competition was the men's 3-meter diving event. Campbell finished the preliminary round in 26th place out of 39 competitors with a score of 253.50. Holzhauer finished the preliminary round in 28th place with a score of 242.25.

Only the Top 18 divers proceed to competition in the final round. Ryan Jefferson from Oho State won the 3-meter event with a preliminary score of 340.30 and a final score of 344.35.

Holzhauer finished the 1-meter event in 21st place with a score of 264.15, missing the finals cutoff by two places and just more than five points. Campbell's score of 239.75 landed him in 30th place on the final day of the NCAA competition.

The Western pair finished ahead of competitors from Notre Dame, Indiana, Cleveland State, Northwestern, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and conference-rival IPFW.

"Next year will be their senior season, and as they continue to work their way up, I see them performing at the top of the pack," Schneider said.
