Fun with booze

Let me start off by quoting Homer Simpson's toast of the finer things in life: "To alcohol - the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems." Almost everyone would agree alcohol has, at some point, brought him or her extreme amounts of joy.
There really is a drink for everyone. Just look at the large selection of alcohol you have to choose from. There is beer with a numerous selection of brands to pick. If you don't like beer, try hard alcohol. Captain, SoCo, Jack, you name it. And for those of you who don't want something so strong, there's Bacardi, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Smirnoff - whatever you want, you can find it.
Alcohol, especially during midterm and finals week, can be a student's best friend. Stressing out over your midterm tests and need to blow off steam? Just crack open a cold one and relax; you will get through it. It's really a balance at the end of any long week, and when Friday's classes are over, break out the bottles: It's time to party.
Have you ever noticed how hard it is to spend a night out drinking and not wake up the next day with a funny story? You have to admit that alcohol can bring out the fool in us all, with hilarious results. Taking pictures and shooting videos during your festivities is always a good idea as well. They are memories of the embarrassing and funny things we do, and we can remember them forever. A few weeks down the road, you will be sitting around with your friends and will say, "Hey remember that night when (you fill in the blank with an awesome drinking story)," and everyone will share a big laugh.
Alcohol does a good job of getting people to loosen up, go crazy and have a good time. I can't count how many times when, at the end of a night of drinking, I am all of a sudden a great dancer. In fact, everyone appears to be an amazing dancer. You would never see so many people out on the dance floor, but get some alcohol in them and they just don't care. They want to have a good time. Drunk dancing can prove to be one of the most fun experiences of your life. Give it a try; you won't regret it.
Think about this also: How many friends have you made or new people have you met simply from being at an alcohol-induced gathering? Drinking is a great way to meet people, whether you will remember them or not. Conversations with random people in random places can get very interesting when the equation involves alcohol.
So keep this in mind, people: Drinking can lead to any number of great experiences. You don't have to drink a lot to have fun, but sometimes it helps. It helps the problems of the real world seem much less important and gives us the chance to let loose and have a good time.
