WC Coach of the Year: Mel Blasi - Men's Golf

It was no shock when the Western men's golf team won last year's conference championship. There were four seniors on the team, and after having won the year before that, it was only right to assume they would win it again.

Picking this year's team to three-peat would not have been a good bet. But the Leathernecks did it anyway. For his team's effort, Blasi was named the Summit Coach of the Year.

Blasi and his team are currently awaiting their placement in the NCAA Tournament, with play scheduled for May 15-17.
