Western Illinois baseball will hold an alumni game on Homecoming weekend, Sunday, Oct. 19. Game time is 11 a.m. at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium. "Response from baseball alumni has been terrific," said Western Illinois head baseball coach Stan Hyman. "Players from the '50s to the present are planning on playing or at least watching the game. NEW YORK - Girls who live in urban areas start sports at a later age and have lower rates of participation than urban boys and suburban girls, according to a report released Thursday by the Women's Sports Foundation.
